Created for a hospitality venue in London, this custom Buddha sculpture was designed as a distinctive interior focal point combining sculpture, lighting, and atmosphere.
The full-height figure is constructed from geometric metal panels and finished in a reflective gold tone. Integrated lighting follows the structure of the sculpture, highlighting its faceted construction and giving the piece a completely different presence after dark.
The traditional prayer pose gives the sculpture a calm, recognizable silhouette, while the contemporary geometric construction transforms it into a modern architectural artwork.
Placed within a richly detailed hospitality interior, the illuminated Buddha creates a strong visual landmark and naturally draws attention from guests. The reflective finish and lighting allow the sculpture to interact continuously with the surrounding environment.
This project demonstrates Buori’s ability to reinterpret recognizable forms through large-scale metal fabrication and integrated lighting for restaurants, hotels, lounges, and other commercial interiors.
